Information
What we receive, and what for.
Emails you send usWhen you write to support@roguecomponent.com or contact@roguecomponent.com, we receive your address, your message and anything you attach. We use them to answer you and to fix what you report. We keep them while we need them for that, and delete them sooner if you ask.
Visit logsCloudflare serves our pages. Like any web server, it records technical details of each request, such as your IP address, your browser and the page you asked for. It uses them to deliver the site and protect it from attacks, and keeps them for a limited time under its own policy. We do not use them to identify or follow visitors.
Your theme choiceIf you switch between light and dark, your browser stores the choice so the next page opens the same way. It never leaves your device.
Answering an email is what you asked us to do, and keeping the site running and safe is in our legitimate interest. We use this information for nothing else.
Rogue BuildGraph Viewer
Your scripts stay in your browser.
Scripts you openThe viewer reads and checks your scripts inside your browser. They are not uploaded to us or to anyone else.
Share linksThe Share button puts the script itself into the link it creates. Browsers never send that part of a link to a web server, ours included, but anyone you give the link to can read the script. Treat a share link like the file.
Copies you hostA copy of the viewer that you host yourself sends nothing to us.
Who else handles it
Cloudflare and Hostinger.
Cloudflare serves this site and the viewer. Hostinger runs our email. Both process this information for us under their own data protection terms, and they may do so in countries other than yours.
Your choices
How to see or delete what we hold.
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to contact@roguecomponent.com and we will reply within 2 business days. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
